Ava and Seth’s blush, boho wedding was a perfect day — delicate, beautiful, natural, and sweet. Wedding days are always filled with love and so much time is put into each day; however, Ava and Seth took their attention to detail to the next level! It was amazing to see how intentional the two were with every single detail that went into their celebration. They invested so much time, energy, and love and it really paid off! We were so thankful and lucky to have been hand-selected alongside a list of incredible vendors to bring their wedding day to life!
Ava + Seth’s Blush Boho Wedding Day
Now, we’ve had our fair share of setting up weddings in high temps, but when thinking back on this day I remember just how HOT it was! I think it was one of the hottest days I’ve ever experienced, it got up to 110 degrees! The heat made it a little stressful when it came to setting up the arrangements, flowers + 110-degree heat doesn’t exactly equal happily ever after. Luckily their family was incredibly kind and let us set up shop in their house where we (and the flowers) stayed in the AC for as long as possible. Phew!
Now let me set the scene for you, besides the heat I don’t think there was ANYTHING that could have made this day more beautiful. Ava and Seth used their family’s property as their wedding venue and anytime a couple gets married on their family’s property there is always an elevated level of love that is surrounding every element of the day. Their family’s property was in Camas, Washington and it was a piece of land that was incredibly green with lots of trees! The natural beauty of the property really made every inch of the design come together even more beautifully.
Ava and Seth had a chic and natural color palette for their wedding florals.
They incorporated lots and lots of fluffy pampas, gorgeous white roses, orchids, and additional dried pieces to bring various parts of their day to life. Their ceremony was so much fun to create! We built this incredible altar up out of two rectangular metal pillars and the floral was trailing out on either side making their ceremony space look massive! We created sweet little pew markers out of pampas and trickled a light trail of rose petals down the aisle.
Okay, Ava’s bouquet was amazzzzing!
It had a bit of a de-constructed shape and featured some of the most gorgeous white roses, orchids, and pops of deep nude and mauve flowers. The tiny touch of color really brought her bouquet to the next level, we couldn’t stop gushing over it! But, the whole look of their day really came together under the grand tented reception area for their incredible dinner reception.
There were so many moving parts that really brought this reception to life but we feel like the flowers definitely stole the show! For their reception, we created a couple of stunning pampas installations that hung at the peaks of the tent over the center of the reception tables. The beautiful white rectangular tables were lined with a delicate rose-colored runner and paired with a lot of natural elements, such as the rattan chargers and beautiful vintage glassware. Altogether there was so much texture, movement, and various styles that ultimately brought every element of Ava and Seth’s style into one.
The newlyweds sat in two massive vintage peacock chairs and looked like the king and queen that they were that day! Each section of their wedding day was carefully thought out, designed, and executed with love. We just are so thrilled with how it all came together! Even though some weddings can be a struggle to set up they are ALWAYS worth it in the end!! Ava and Seth had smiles on their faces the entire night and absolutely knew how to get down on the dance floor. We are so happy for these two!
