Oh my goodness, Jona and Joe. They are literal angels, I’m convinced! Truly two of the sweetest humans we have been lucky enough to work with and it was an absolute JOY creating for their Camino Real Ranch wedding! From the very first time we met with them, they were so excited to work with us and so open to our creative eye for all the floral things. They had a really cool vision and trusted us to carry it out completely! We will forever be grateful to our couples who trust us endlessly like Jona and Joe did.
Jona, our sweet bride, wanted to incorporate flowers native to the Philippines as a homage to her family heritage.
It was incredibly fun to research them and utilize them in her bouquet, the installations and table florals. It was the perfect fit for their Camino Real Ranch wedding outside of Austin. The venue has a really fun greenhouse vibe mixed with a retro Palm Springs feel! Combine the unique space, pops of vibrant hues and tropical blooms and well… it’s just magic! We topped their tables with bright, happy colors that brought a sense of sunshine and warmth with our signature mix of dried and fresh stems.
Our favorite memory from the day was definitely their heart-felt ceremony!
Joe and Jona had one of the sweetest ceremonies ever! They had both sets of their parents – who have each been married for over 40 years – read them letters during the ceremony. Everyone was crying! Not a dry eye to be found in the whole venue! That type of love and strong family ties is really what it’s all about. We combined dried palms, pampas and pops of muted floral to decorate the space. The designs added texture and life while drawing the eye to Jona and Joe at the altar. We love a little contrast between ceremony and reception and this one struck the perfect balance! Jona and Joe, thank you for inviting us to be a part of it all and trusting us so completely!
