Ummm, hello beautiful!! Jessica and Dylan’s wedding was such a treat and we still can’t believe the way it turned out. Destination weddings are SO much fun! Even though there were a few logistical hiccups (more about that later…), nothing was going to stop us from having the most incredible time designing florals for their beach wedding in Aruba!
For Jessica and Dylan’s wedding, they chose the incredible Ritz Carlton in Aruba as their venue.
This stunning luxury resort achieved the perfect vibe for their laid-back beach wedding. The Ritz is located right on the sandy-white beaches of Aruba, perfect for a magical evening in paradise! When Jessica and Dylan first came to us in search of the perfect florist we were so stoked. It really is an honor to be considered for a couple’s big day! And the fact that they were wanting us to travel to Aruba with them was just an added bonus. They invited a small group of family and friends who all traveled to attend their beach wedding in Aruba and celebrate the lovebirds. There was an amazing cloud of love that surrounded their wedding day; we loved every part of it!

For their color palette, Jessica and Dylan stuck to soft hues of peach, blush, and ivory with a pop of bright reds and oranges.
We wanted the palette to draw your eye into the design! It was a gorgeous tropical-jungle meets sea-breeze vibe and we were seriously obsessed. Something that was so fun about their design was how they wanted to “clump” together the colors and flowers in an almost ombre-esque style. It allowed us to play with the overall shape and create some extremely unique designs.

Their beach-side ceremony took place just steps from the beach (literally, just three steps down and you’re right on the sandy-white beaches of Aruba!) They utilized the outdoor terrace as their altar and had soft drapes frame their ceremony site while we built up a dream-worthy floral installation for their altar. Starting with deep oranges and dried floral, the design climbed up the post into a blush and white fluffy focal point on either side of their altar. We used a bunch of fluffy roses and also threw in some orchids, pampas, and dried palms here and there to add some movement and texture. Overall, it was beautiful!

Weddings can sometimes come with a few logistical nightmares; part of our job is taking care of those crazy moments on the spot. The last thing we want is for our client to feel stressed by the ups and downs of setting up! So, we pride ourselves on knowing that we can handle any situation that occurs and do so with a smile on our face. This way our couple can focus on having the best day ever! In Aruba we were met with some intense wind, but it all turned out beautifully. Logistically, this wedding was for sure one of the most difficult ones we’ve done but we pulled it off (don’t mind us patting ourselves on the back!) The destination was so beautiful and ultimately it was such a rewarding experience. This is why we do what we do!

Even though Jessica and Dylan kept their wedding small it made a BIG impression.
They held their reception dinner on the patio of The Ritz and we just were ecstatic when we saw the location we got to play around with. They had one long community-style table for their guests that had a dusty rose runner flowing down the center. Wooden cross-back chairs and rattan chargers brought in a natural element while the gauze napkins softened the look on top of a blush charger. We had so much fun creating the centerpieces for this table with varying florals designed into different-sized cement vessels. Above us was this beautiful lighting installation beam with beautiful white lanterns. Jessica and Dylan wanted the entire space to feel cohesive so we even tied in some fun hanging floral installations!
We really were in absolute paradise for Jessica and Dylan’s luxurious and intimate beach wedding in Aruba. We’re also SO lucky to have worked with Mae and Co Creative who led the planning, styling, and design! Special thanks to Karra Leigh Photo for capturing these breathtaking photos, can we go back already?!
