Working with Katie and Phillip on their wedding at Mae’s Ridge was a total blast! Katie is a designer at heart and spent two (yes TWO) long years planning their big day thanks to postponements, but it was 10000% worth the wait! Mae’s Ridge is one of our all time favorite venues that is just the perfect clean blank slate for any style. When Katie first reached out she knew she wanted some floral installations that would make guests “stop dead in their tracks”. Um hello dream bride! We love to hear it! Our team was ready to make some show stopping moments happen.
For Katie and Phillip’s wedding at Mae’s Ridge, we combined dried and fresh floral and added some hints of natural tones from nudes to blush.
We loved incorporating pampas grass, dried palms, bleached greens and funky blooms to create a space that really showed off the geometric arches and tied all the design elements together. There ceremony was a total show stopper with curved geometric arches decked in floral. It was a neutral-lover’s dream come true! Katie spent so much time pouring over the details and it all came together perfectly. We loved getting to partner with her vision and bring it to life!
To say we love a bride who loves floral as much as we do is an understatement!
Katie was SO excited about the flowers. While installing her floral and completing the space, she kept coming out and doing happy dances – it was simply the best! The clean white walls of Mae’s Ridge really let the flowers show off. From curated bud vases to hanging flowers, Katie and Phillip’s day was as stunning as could be and we are so grateful to have been a part of it all!
