“We want our wedding to feel simple and natural. No colors, just ivory, grey tones, eucalyptus, and pampas grass textures.” Kamryn and Brendon, consider it DONE! Creating this wedding day design was so exciting for us from start to finish. We lovee how collaborative Kamryn and Brendon wanted to be with us through this journey. From the start, these lovebirds told us how strongly they felt drawn to the boho look and chose us due to the way we incorporate various textures into our floral designs! Knowing couples admire our work and are dreaming of the arrangements we can create for them is incredible. We just LOVE seeing their faces light up when we tell them their vision will come to life! To capture their style in a couple of words, Kamryn and Brendon labeled it as boho-meets-rustic texture. We worked hard to create the perfect color palette that was neutral and full of texture, and it turned out to be such a fun floral mixture! We were seriously obsessssedddd with the way their wedding at Mae’s Ridge turned out.

Getting to know our clients is one of the best parts of our job. Seeing their personalities unfold as we get deeper into the planning process is a ton of fun and allows us all to really feel confident in the designs we’re creating. Kamryn and Brendon wanted their wedding day to be filled with love and be beautiful while also feeling organic and simple, just like their relationship. With Mae’s Ridge as their venue ‘beautiful’ was already checked off the list, I mean this venue is the BEST and one of our all-time favs for sure!! Mae’s Ridge is so versatile and works amazingly with any vibe you can really make your own.
To emphasize the boho-rustic vibe Kamryn and Brendon were going for, we settled on a unique floral design that was outside our standard style! It was so much fun to be pushed outside of our comfort zone and see how far we could stretch our creativity! We knew Kamryn wanted to see lots of texture but we were limited to what floral elements we could use. They only wanted us to use pampas, baby’s breath, eucalyptus, and some pops of white floral. Our limited floral recipe made this design process even more exciting! We LOVE being challenged, and playing with different variations of flowers to find the perfect design through different heights, depths, etc. Creating something unique and beautiful is one of our favorite parts of floral design!

Sooo, let’s discuss the rest of their wedding day design, shall we? As we walked into Mae’s Ridge to begin the floral set up I immediately was in LOVEEEE with the details. Kamryn and Brendon worked with Simply XO Events to design their wedding day so of course, they came up with the most incredible details. There were these beautiful sage plates at their reception that I just couldn’t take my eyes off of and to make it even better they looked SOOO good with the cream, white, and sage green florals we were bringing in!! This wedding felt classic, elegant, and timeless while also feeling very natural and boho! Banquet and round tables were draped with long cream linens that made the space feel elegant and were met with their bamboo-inspired boho-style chairs. We were able to create a few different reception floral designs but of course, the sweetheart table stole our hearts. A stunning installation sat at the foot of their table and matched the centerpiece we dressed their table up with. Sparkling hurricane candles framed the florals and lit up the night beautifully.

We just had so much fun playing around with these florals and bringing Kamryn and Brendons dreams to life! Their wedding was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, lots of love, and their adorable pup. Reminiscing on their wedding day with these photos has been so fun for us and we hope you enjoy scrolling through the beauty of this wedding at Mae’s Ridge as much as we do! Photographers always do an amazing job capturing our work and the joy on our client’s faces, we are SO lucky to work with the best of the best in the business!
