Jade and Seth’s wedding feels like walking through a cloud. Soft and blissful! Everything surrounding this day was elegant and almost old-fashioned. From their neutral color palette to the style of photography, it felt like we were flipping through a vintage vogue magazine. This venue was the perfect location for their day, giving romantic and vintage vibes throughout every inch of the property. We had so much fun designing and setting up this timeless wedding at The Grand Lady!
Inspired by modern and timeless design, Jade and Seth dreamt up a gorgeous setting for their wedding day. When Jade began sharing her ideas with us we were immediately obsessed, she is so trendy and knew just how to bring her style into her big day! For her bridal bouquet, Jade was looking for something unique but soft, so we designed a whimsical mix of roses, spray roses, anthurium, and dried hanging amaranthus. When we handed her the bouquet for the first time she was SO happy and everyone got a little teary-eyed. This day was really happening!! We’ll forever obsess over the way Jade’s bouquet looked in the golden hour light and the way it stood out in the stunning bridal photos taken in front of the vintage bookshelves.
The showstopper of the day was the ceremony design. From top to bottom, this space was stunning! We set two clear acrylic pillars on a beautiful brick patio to frame the couple. With fluffy pampas grass, structural roses, and other dreamy white flowers we created four unique flower arrangements. Two sat in front of the acrylic pillars while the other two sat on top. Friends and family poured into the white seats and enjoyed the sweetest ceremony we’ve ever seen! When they said “I do”, it was time to head into the incredible reception space.
Beige, cream, ivory, and blush filled the reception hall. Jade and Seth kept the space clean and oh-so-elegant! The tall ceilings allowed the space to feel grand and were the perfect setting for the newlywed’s dinner. The reception tables were topped with linen-colored ceramic chargers, gold flatware, and sand-colored taper candles. To add the final touch we designed some sweet floral arrangements that featured blush ranunculus, anthurium, and carnations. We were so in love with the clean feel these arrangements had! Jade and Seth had a custom sign made and displayed it over their gorgeous wedding cake, and we had so much fun designing a hanging installation to spice up the neon sign. You already know it was a hotspot for selfies!!
As the night wrapped up, Jade and Seth cut their delicious cake decorated with dried palm, orchids, and spray roses, then headed to the dance floor. Their wedding at The Grand Lady was the perfect mix of traditional and modern styles, their energy was radiant and we know they’ll be tearing up over these photos for many years to come! Their grand farewell featured sparklers and a vintage convertible — talk about an iconic way to head into the first night as Mr. and Mrs.
Congratulations, Jade and Seth! We will be dreaming of this wedding day and the floral design for a long time.
