When urban modern meets classic romance, it’s going to be a showstopper for sure! We always LOVE getting to work with Mae and Co because we know the details are going to be amazing! It makes such a difference in how the entire wedding, event or shoot comes together and we always say YES to being involved when they ask! We had a blast designing for this styled wedding in downtown Portland.
When we first started talking about this shoot, we knew it was going to be stunning and boy, were we right!
The contrast of soft, clean white florals against the industrial city scape is one of our favorite combinations yet. Shot on the roof of the Ecotrust building in downtown Portland, modern tone on tone romance filled the space with beauty. We loved how the lush all white bouquet came out and really popped even against the all white modern gown paired with a blush veil. Even if your style is classic – don’t be afraid of a little color in just the right places.
The ceremony was so clean and sleek with a modern white frame backdrop that we covered in lush white floral.
We lined the aisle with a simple scattering of petals and let the surroundings and beautiful couple do the rest! To round out the details, we topped an intimate table with a lush collection white floral arrangements and two sky high centerpieces on gold bases that reminded us of city skylines. They simply popped off the brick wall behind and I can’t get enough of the contrast. The mixture of soft ranunculus and happy anthuriums popping up to say hi welcomes the eyes to the spaces and invites them to stay. Isn’t that the energy we all need in 2021?! Here’s to creating happy invitations to intimate gatherings in stunning spaces!
