Jareena and Chris’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA was straight out of a fairytale! The colors, the textures, and oh the joy! There was SO much happiness throughout their entire day. Because Jareena and Chris were so excited for their big day, the feeling was simply palpable and you can see it in the results! We loved how they wove their love story and travels into their day and really packed in the romance from beginning to end. Proteas, roses and pampas are just the start of this Southern California dream boat of a wedding!
Like something that romantic love stories are made of, Jareena and Chris’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch was a whimsical dream come to life!
Situated in front of a huge oak tree, we flowered their triangle altar on a cloud of pampas that grew asymmetrically from the base. Lights hung above from the tree branches like falling stars that made their wedding wishes come true! Seriously, it was actual magic! We lined the aisle with more pampas and lots of deep, romantic color and texture. Utilizing dried and fresh elements, we combined burgundy, sandy bleached stems and hints of warm peachy pinks.
As day turned to night and the celebration moved indoors, the warm and inviting reception space simply glowed.
We topped tables with lush centerpieces that were accented by candles and repurposed the ceremony arch behind the sweetheart table as a cherry on top! We tucked in proteas, chrysanthemums and eucalyptus to create arrangements that were textural beauties! A favorite detail of ours is the polaroid table numbers speaking to milestones in their life and the different places they traveled. Can’t get enough of those personalized details!
